wukalina Walk named finalist in Tasmanian Tourism Awards 2021

We’re excited to announce we’ve been named a finalist for this year’s Tasmanian Tourism Awards in the category of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Tourism. This is a huge honour to have got this far and we’re looking forward to the gala event in nipaluna/Hobart in early November where winners will be announced.

These awards celebrate the best businesses and experiences in the Tasmanian tourism industry and, according to the TICT, “are designed to encourage and recognise innovation, excellence, quality and sustainability in tourism, while providing a benchmark for industry best practice”.

Here’s guide Jake Brown and our tourism operations manager, Mel West, receiving the finalist certificate on behalf of the whole wukalina Walk team.
